Once smelt never forgotten. The aromatic nature of Cabernet Franc is immediately evident here. Plums and red berries on the palate providing that savoury textured finish which is quintessentially French, the memory will linger.
Our Hunter Valley Range is crafted using carefully chosen parcels of fruit sourced from individual vineyards in the Hunter Valley. Our Shiraz boasts rich fruit flavours of plum and blueberry, complemented by velvety tannins that create a smooth, silky finish on the palate.
Our 3.2-acre Shiraz vineyard was planted in 1990 and is situated on sandy loam/clay soils at a high elevation contributing to their unique character.
‘The Whistler’ (named after my Grandmother Cassie McCaffrey), has been aged in French Oak, delivering a wine that’s rich in red & black berries, spice and savoury textured tannins.
